Golf Treatment and Performance

A comprehensive evaluation is imperative whether you are looking to play golf without back pain, or looking to improve distance off the tee.  We believe that golf based treatment and rehab should be geared towards the movement of the swing.  Optimizing the body to withstand the rotational impact on the swing will also likely lead to more power.

At Elite Chiropractic and Performance, we leave no stones uncovered when evaluating golf performance.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)

The Titleist Performance Institute brings a team approach to the assessment, treatment, and development of golfers of all types.  It is heavily present on the PGA Tour where many professional golfers work with various TPI professionals.  Since its inception in 2003, TPI has compiled data on thousands of golfers ranging from tour pros to weekend enthusiasts.  TPI teaches its Body Swing Connection approach which includes movement analysis and video swing analysis.  With this approach, we can evaluate how an individual's body limitations can affect their swing and how it can correlate to potential injuries and pain.

"TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do."

A Team Approach to Golf Performance

TPI certifies individuals in its Golf, Fitness, and Medical tracks.  For example, a swing coach may not be able to work with their client because of recurring low back pain.  The Golf professional can then refer to the Medical professional for evaluation and treatment so that the golfer can play pain free.  Every TPI professional is trained in the TPI movement screen and video kinematic sequence so that everyone can speak the same language.  In addition, identifying any body limitations can be critical in improving the player's overall game.   At Elite Chiropractic and Performance, we work with local TPI experts in order to offer the best possible results for the player.
